500 Civil War Musket 1/2" .490" Paper Tubes for Reenactment Blanks

For auction is a box containing 500 handrolled paper tubes to be used for Civil War .58 & .69 caliber inert blankss. Hand rolled on 1/2″ (.490″) dowel rod out of blank newsprint, crimped in the end NO GLUE NO STAPLES, 4 1/2″ – 5″ long. We normally load 80-85 grains in our inert blanks and have plenty of room to fold/create the tail. I am sure you could easy load up to 120 grains and have plenty of length left. I like having a little longer tail as it makes it easier to pull the inert replica from the leather box.
I have been rolling these for many years, and my Civil War unit uses thousands of these every year with virtually no problems. I will include 7-10 extra tubes in the box of 500 just in case there are a couple that give you problems. The NEW LOWER PRICE of $16.99 comes out to just  3 1/3 cents a tube, about as cheap as you will find. I have sold hundreds of thousands of these tubes to reenactors all over the US as well as provided some of the tubes being used on the current film production of “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”. My larger tubes are used at several National Historical sites throughout the country as well.

If you order smaller tubes than you need and send me a note asking for larger tubes, shipping fees will not be the same as quoted in checkout for other size tubes.
